Water Main Break on Lakeview Drive
About mid-morning September 7, a 16" water main developed a large leak on Lakeview Drive. City crews have been able to isolate and repair the leak. As a result of this, the City has issued a boil water notice until further notice for all residents who are on the city's water system.
Lakeview is closed to thru traffic between Westlake Woods and Broadway. Please continue to monitor the website for further updates. The City of Azle greatly appreciates the patience of its water customers as crews continue to work to resolve this issue.

UPDATE 9-8-10 5:30 p.m. - City crews are continuing to flush lines to clear them. This may cause fluctuations in water pressure and, at times, the water may appear cloudy as air is cleared from the lines. The boil water notice continues to remain in effect until further notice. We are asking our water customers to please conserve water.
The City has bottled water available for our water customers. One case per household will be distributed at the Emanuel Building, 605 SE Parkway, from 7 am – 7 pm for as long as the boil water notice is in effect..
We will provide the next update at 9 a.m., September 9, or when new information becomes available.
